The length of a standard container has become the prevailing measurement in global trade. Coffee or bananas, Photographer Sabine Vielmo has accompanied container vessels on their voyages around the globe.
The book was published in 2008 as part of a comprehensive special exhibition in Deutsche Schiffahrtsmuseum Bremerhaven featuring the work by Sabine Vielmo.
